Austin City Limits Festival

Austin City Limits is the longest-running music series in television history and is the name behind an annual music festival held in Zilker Park, Austin, Texas. The festival was founded in 2002 and is produced by an Austin-based company C3 Presents as a one-weekend event. The ACL Music Festival has eight stages hosting over 130 musical groups from a variety of genres including rock, indie, country, folk, electronic, and hip hop. The festival brings approximately 225 thousand people each year keeping it the most exciting and successful music festival in Austin (AS), Sydney (AUS), and Auckland (NZ).

Along with the music performances, the festival also features an art market, kids area for families, festival food court AKA Austin Eats, and many other activities for the attendees. Austin Eats serves all of Austin’s finest restaurants and caters to every individual’s needs with gluten-free and vegetarian options as well.

ACL Festival was voted to expand to two consecutive weekends by the Austin city council members on August 16, 2012, due to its high popularity. In 2018, Austin City Limits Radio also made its debut playing artists from the show, festival, and venue.
