Come from Away

Come From Away is the breathtaking new musical also known as “on the edge”. Set in the week after the September 11th attacks, a day that started as a normal day turned into an international sleepover when 38 planes, carrying thousands of people from across the globe, were diverted to Gander’s airstrip in Canada.

The musical takes you into the heart of the true story of 7,000 passengers who were stranded in the small town of Newfoundland. The locals never lacked warmth and remained unaffected by the culture clashes and language barriers. The musical soars into the night with enduring friendships and turns uneasiness into trust.

Come From Away is a Canadian musical written by Tony nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein and is directed by the Tony-winning Best Director, Christopher Ashley. It marks a story with unusual characters, unexpected camaraderie, and uncommon generosity that was embraced with open arms.

Do not miss the breathtaking musical which takes you to a place you never want to leave.
